Now that Jon Gosselin and TLC have reached a settlement, Jon is trying to make nice. His attorney released this statement to Radar Online:

“Jon has expressed his desire to close the litigation chapter of Jon & Kate Plus 8 and although all terms are confidential, he is hopeful that TLC will move forward with the best interests of the Gosselin family,” the statement read.

“Sometimes litigants that kiss and make up find their relationship is better the second time around. As Jon’s attorney I truly hope that this new adventure for TLC and the Gosselins is a much more joyful journey.”

I’m guessing this means Jon hopes to do some type of show with TLC, or at least get their permission to take other jobs, rather than wait out the duration of his contract before starting other projects.

I think Jon should just be grateful he’s drawing a paycheck again. Imagine getting paid to do nothing, just because you have a contract. There are worse fates.
