U2 frontman Bono had to have emergency surgery on his back in a Munich hospital after he was injured while preparing for the group’s tour.

The 50-year-old rock star is under the care of neurosurgeon Dr. Joerg Tonn and Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Mueller-Wohlfahrt, according to a statement on U2’s website.

U2’s manager Paul McGuinness, in an MP3 posted on the website, said Friday that because of the injury, the band’s “360-Degree” June 3 show in Salt Lake City, Utah, has been postponed. It is not clear if other dates will also be canceled.

McGuinness says,

We hope to get things resolved as soon as possible.”

I hope it’s nothing too serious!

Salma Hayek is on the cover of InStyle Magazine June 2010 Edition and she is looking spectacularly beautiful as always. You can see her wearing a McQueen dress for the cover and she also gave an interview to the magazine where she talked about space traveling, changing her name, plastic surgery and much more.

Here are some of the highlights from the interview:-

On changing her name to Salma Hayek Pinault: “It was [daughter] Valentina’s request. I didn’t think about it until she brought it up. We were shooting a film, and she saw my chair with my name on it. She said, ‘What does it say there?’ And I said, ‘Salma Hayek.’ And she said, ‘What about Pinault? Why not Pinault?’ Because here people say ‘Madame Pinault.’ I said to myself, ‘ This is who I am now. I’m starting a whole new life. I’ve never been happier. Why shouldn’t I share it with the people who have been supporting me my whole career, who have been with me since the beginning? ‘I’m a private person, but I should let them in on the fact that I’m a different person, and a better person. It’s a new life.”

On whether she’d ever have plastic surgery: “No surgical tweaks. No Botox either. Look. [She raises her eyebrows.] I think it is terrible, these girls in their late 20s injecting their faces and lips. One told me, ‘If I kill my muscles now, I’ll never get wrinkles.’ Can you imagine?”
The June 2010 issue of InStyle is on newsstands Friday (May 21).

On quitting on some of her interests in favor of being a good mother to her daughter: “I love scuba diving and used to dive where the sharks were, and now? No more sharks. Everything becomes about the baby. You are in second position, or third. You have to balance everything in your life and while, yes, your children and husband must be important, you have to dedicate time to yourself. The mother of today needs to find ways to be comfortable and stylish at the same time.”

On space traveling: “I reserved my place with the Virgin [Galactic] expedition. And then I got pregnant. And now I’m a mother. So, I’m not going to go.”

On whether there are cultural differences between her and her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault: “Nooo, I love him. I ridiculously love him. He makes it easy for me. He’s so open, and his family is too-so international¬-and fascinating and warm. I only speak French to his children. I don’t know how, but they understand my French. Plus, he and I have the same interests, which is wonderful. Like soccer.”

Even though the have only been married since December, Kevin Jonas and his wife, Danielle Deleasa, are already sleeping in separate beds. According to a friend of the couple’s, when it comes to their sleeping arrangements, the honeymoon is over!

However, the problem is not what you might think…apparently Kevin snores like a freight train! According to their friend,

Kevin and Danielle had never spent a night together until their wedding night, so she had no clue that he snores so loudly. She loves her husband, but now she sleeps in a guest room when he gets too noisy. They are still crazy about each other. But the snoring has become a big joke for their friends.”

That’s too bad…anyone else have this problem with their spouse/partner? There must be a solution, right?

Rocker and ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Bret Michaels is a FIGHTER! He was admitted to the hospital yesterday after suffering a “warning stroke.” Doctors also found a hole in his heart.

Yet E! News reports Bret was released from the hospital this morning, and his rep tells People he wants to attend the ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ finale this weekend.

“As far as I know, Bret will be there unless his doctors tell him otherwise,” says his rep of Michaels, who would be facing off against Holly Robinson Peete in the final boardroom evaluation with Donald Trump.

“We’re cautiously optimistic that he will attend the finale,” continues the rep. “But ultimately, it’s up to his doctors.”

Something tells me they’ll have to put Bret in restraints to keep him from attending the live finale. I bet his attitude is helping with his recovery, but I hope he takes care of himself!

Hopefully he’ll recover fully from all of these medical problems.

‘Killers’ star Katherine Heigl admitted that, at times, her three-month maternity leave got to be a bit much. But it wasn’t Naleigh who got on her nerves: it was her husband, musician Josh Kelley.

She joked: “There were a good few weeks when I almost smothered him with his pillow. But that’s marriage, two people with totally different lives and totally different experiences just trying to fit.”

Too much togetherness can be a challenge- LOL.

Before her maternity leave, Katherine filmed the movie ‘Life As We Know It,’ where her character was a first-time mother, too.

“It was crazy, because as my character was learning how to take care of a one-year-old, I was too. But as I was working with these gorgeous little triplets who play my child, I was feeling bad that I was spending more time with them than with my own kid. And that broke my heart.”

A source told RadarOnline.com: “This is really, really graphic and showing her in compromising positions; things you would think would be embarrassing for her.”

Megamind is a story of a Super-villain who unwillingly turns into Super Hero to save the world. Megamind voice overs are done by Will Farell, Tina Fey and Brad Pitt. The story goes like this. Megamind is a super villain who wants to destroy the city of the 21st century and his nemesis “Metro Man” is a superhero who everytime saves the world from this very predictable villain quite easily.

So naturally Megamind is quite frustrated with himself because of his failure, so he decides to create a new opponent named “Titan” for ‘Metro Man.” Titan is way more stronger and better than Metro Man. However here comes the twist in the movie as Titan decides to think for himself and he decides not to rule the world but destroys it. The movie will release on November 5, 2010.

‘Desperate Housewives’ star Marcia Cross was spotted grocery shopping with her husband, Tom Mahoney, and their twin daughters, Savannah and Eden. It looks like Marcia was trying to go incognito by tucking her trademark red hair under a cap

We haven’t heard any more news about Tom’s cancer diagnosis, but he looks like he’s doing well here. That’s great to see.
