According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, plans to seek a conservatorship for Lindsay. Lindsay reportedly refuses to see her father, even though she’s currently in New York City herself (here she is doing some shopping with her mother, Dina Lohan).

As for a possible conservatorship, Lohan is telling people he’d gladly serve as the conservator but is open to someone else assuming that role.

Michael Lohan also says he does not want his daughter to go to jail. As TMZ first reported, Lohan is on the fast track for a jail cell because she has squarely violated the terms of her probation. A court day of May 20 looms for Lindsay.

Michael wants Lindsay in rehab but not a traditional, group facility. He wants to go the Brooke Mueller route — a private home with lots of doctors. What Michael isn’t factoring in — that type of rehab is bocu expensive and Lindsay is broke.

Lindsay does seem to be struggling, but I wonder if things are at the point where a conservatorship is appropriate (it’s what Britney Spears has)? And although Michael may truly be well-meaning, this sounds like another misguided attempt at trying to get Lindsay help that’s more likely to make things worse.

Us Weekly is reporting that Kristin Cavallari was seen doing a line of coke. Even though this claim has been addressed by ‘The Hills’ reality star, the rumor will not die.

Earlier this month, after a night of dinking at Night Vision’s Oasis event at Coachella in Indio, Calif., Cavallari, 23, joined 37-year-old actor Jason Statham and several others for a late-night spin in a golf cart, the new Us Weekly reports. “They got pulled over by the cops and were told to go home,” recounts a Cavallari acquaintance, who tells Us Weekly that throughout the music festival weekend, the star “was drinking and partying. I saw her do a line of cocaine.”

What do you think about the report? Do you think Kristin would openly do drugs like this KNOWING she is a public figure and the news could spiral out of control? Or is this a made up story by a magazine trying to sell subscriptions?

It seems while in New York filming ‘The Dark Fields,’ actress Abbie Cornish is spending some quality time with Josh Hartnett. The pair were spotted together on Saturday night at Warren 77, a bar owned by New York Ranger, Sean Avery. It was reported that the pair looked cozy and stayed until 1am before leaving together.

Earlier this week, the story was that Brooke Mueller refused to move out of the family home she used to share with Charlie Sheen. Today, the word is that Brooke moved out after Charlie moved back into their home: with a paid escort.

“Their relationship is dead,” the source said. “Brooke wants a payout.”

Well, I guess the relationship is dead if things like that are happening!

Radar Online reports that Charlie has had paid escorts come to the house before while Brooke was away. Once the story broke, Brooke supposedly refused to leave, but once Charlie declared he was moving back in, that was it.

“She doesn’t want to sleep in the same house with him she’s so disgusted,” the source said.

Can you blame her? IF this story is true, the only thing I can think is that Charlie wants Brooke to leave, so he’s behaving so outrageously to drive her away. I just wonder how they’re keeping things even civil for their twin sons.

YAWN!!! I think the rumor of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie getting married has officially just topped the number of Loch Ness monster sightings reported over the last 100 years. What are we up to now- 6,348,009??

The couple – who have been together since 2005 – have finally given into the pleas of their older children, Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, and three-year-old Shiloh and agreed to tie the knot… according to OK! Magazine.

“First it was Maddox, who has begged his parents to tie the knot for years. “Lately, Shiloh and Zahara have been chiming in, and Pax thinks it would just be the coolest thing ever to be a ring bearer.”

Angelina, 34, has previously admitted she and 46-year-old Brad are expecting the children to eventually start questioning why they had never got married.

“Usually people fall in love and everything revolves around the ritual of marriage, children are an afterthought. We did everything backwards.

“But sooner or later it will be the kids who ask us to get married. You know, they see films and start asking questions. Such as, ‘Why are Shrek and his love Fiona married and you’re not?’ ”

Do you really think the children are old enough to ask these questions about Brad and Angie? They can’t really tell the difference and my guess is Angie shelters them as much as she can from the news. I doubt these thoughts even exist.

Paris Hilton has reportedly split from Doug Reindhardt. The socialite reportedly ended her 14-month romance despite wedding speculation. A source said:

“Obviously she broke up with him.”

Paris, 29, was seen partying in Las Vegas last weekend and Doug was reportedly planning to fly out to see her on his way back from a family holiday to Aspen, but decided not to at the last minute. The source added to E! Online:

“He was in Aspen with his dad this weekend and was considering stopping by Vegas on the drive back, but changed his mind. I’m pretty sure that’s why he went to Aspen… to hide out and try to get over her.”

Paris chose to spend time with her parents, Kathy and Richard, at the weekend and even went clubbing in Vegas with them. She tweeted:

“Just packing my bags, going on a trip with my parents for a few days. I love spending time with my family, we have the best time… After dinner with the family, we all stopped by Tao. Had a great time dancing to DJ Reach. My parents are so much fun to hang out with.”

Here we go again. This type of story was virtually inevitable, between Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake not being photographed together lately (these pictures are from February) and Justin shooting the movie ‘Bad Teacher’ with ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz (where their characters are love interests, no less).

New reports are surfacing that Justin and Jessica have ended their three-year relationship.

“They’ve both been working incredibly hard and will remain friendly -
but there’s no more romance.

“It was mutual and they agreed it was best to part ways if things
weren’t going to head towards marriage and kids. They are both
incredibly busy.

“They both knew things were going to end for ages – it was just a
matter of when.”

I’m not saying it isn’t true: this actually sounds entirely plausible, and this couple is so private, they aren’t likely to issue any kind of statement. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if we either: a) see them together again, or b) see them with other people.

Well, this is a creative way to shame someone. According to the NY Post, ‘NYPD Blue’ star Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon accused her husband, CAA agent Mike Nilon, of cheating on her.

In an e-mail making the rounds at the agency with the subject line “Tiger Woods/Jesse James/Mike Nilon,” the former “NYPD Blue” star wrote to Nilon’s colleagues, “What do they have in common . . . I found out today that MY husband of almost 9 yrs has been having an affair for 5 yrs with some s*ut in Chicago. I am devastated!!!! And I have been duped!! Our boys don’t deserve this!”

Neither Garcelle’s nor Mike responded to the Post’s request for a comment.

Hmmm… maybe it’s not so certain that Sandra Bullock will divorce Jesse James after all. TMZ reports that all three of Jesse’s children (Sunny, Chandler, and Jesse Jr) are currently living with Sandra.

Our sources say Sandra is not living at her Hollywood Hills home, which has become paparazzi central for more than a week.

One source very familiar with the situation tells TMZ, “It’s a positive sign about Sandra’s relationship with Jesse.” The source would not elaborate.

It always sounded to me like Sandra was a very hands-on stepmother. A lot of people do salvage a marriage for the sake of the children. And, honestly, she probably wouldn’t stand a chance of even getting visitation if she divorced Jesse (unless Jesse or their mothers allowed it).

I wonder about this, though, because all of the children have been photographed with other members of the James family (Karla James and Carol James) and nannies as recently as this week, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t be staying with Sandra.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and her Ghost Whisperer co-star, Jamie Kennedy, just broke up a little less than a month ago and rumor has it that the actress has already moved on with director John Asher.

“They are dating,” a source says. “They’ve been spending a lot of time together and are having fun. He showers her with attention and is helping her move on from her breakup with Jamie [Kennedy].”

John is the ex-husband of Jenny McCarthy and the father of her son, Evan.

Do you think it seems soon to jump back in the dating pool? Jennifer did admit that she doesn’t like to be single.
