Stars flew west from Hollywood to Washington DC in order to attend the White House’s annual Correspondent’s Dinner in Washington, DC. Jay Leno was the host. Did anyone catch it (or part of it) live on cable last night?

The celebs who attended include: ‘Iron Man 2′ star Scarlett Johansson (above), Rachael Ray, Michelle Pfeiffer, Julianna Marguiles, Jessica Simpson, ‘Sex and the City’ stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis, Jessica Alba with Cash Warren, Kim Kardashian, the Jonas Brothers, and Terrence Howard.

Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian showed up to the grand opening party for Beach Bunny Swimwear at the brand’s store on Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles last night.

These girls like their dresses short and skin tight!! Even though they are sisters, you can see their tastes vary when it comes to style. Kim is most certainly the glitziest.

Kim Kardashian recently tweeted a photograph of hers while holding a cat with the caption, “Pic from my shoot yesterday…good kitty cat!”. Well she is in Australia right now for a modelling project and that wuite explains this weird picture.

However Kim got a strict warning from PETA rep Amanda Schinke,”Kim Kardashian isn’t the only person who mistakenly thinks that because a mother cat picks up her kittens by the scruff of the neck that a supportive hand under the rump isn’t needed. Some cats prefer to be cradled, while others might like sitting up in your arms or being draped over them.” Any cat owner will tell you—don’t try this at home!

So guys remember this advice for your pet cat too.

Kim Kardashian is now opening up about why she posed for Playboy. She said she did it at the urging of her mother/manager, Kris Jenner, to promote the then-new show, ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians.’

“I’m sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable.

“‘Go for it,’ my mother said, ‘They might never ask you again. Our show isn’t on the air yet. No one knows who you are. Do it and you’ll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you’re my age.’ “

Okay, I understand that when you work with family in the entertainment industry, these conversations may very well happen, but I still find it SO WEIRD that a mother would tell her daughter to pose nude in a magazine! Can you imagine your mother advising you to do that?

However, Kim says she was more comfortable posing nude for Harper’s Bazaar.

“It’s definitely scary, but it’s very liberating. I think the message is embrace your curves and who you are. I feel proud if young girls look up to me and say, ‘I’m curvy and proud of it now.’

“I might have a little bit of cellulite. I might not be toned everywhere. I might struggle in this area or that.”

Tastes like roast beef

No, Kim was just messin’ around with a prop kitty from a photo shoot. She posted this picture of herself, holding the kitty up by the scruff of its neck, and raised the ire of well-meaning but misinformed Twitterers the world over. It’s not as bad as it looks though. Mama cats carry their babies around like that all the time; PETA even admitted as much. So what’s the big deal? As usual with the Kardashians, abso-freakin’-lutely nothing. Hey, it’s a slow news day.

When I first saw these pictures of Kim Kardashian in Sydney, Australia, my first thought was: who in the world knows about the Kardashians in Australia?

I guess reality TV stars are global celebrities now. She’s in Sydney as part of a promotional tour for Optus, which seems to be a communications network (they offer cell phone services, internet connections, etc).

Hey, if they want Kim to promote their services, then that’s great, but it seems so… random. Oh well, if it works, it works
