Actor David Boreanaz (Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has come forward to publicly admit he had an affair on his wife of eight years, Jaime Bergman.

“Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities,” the actor admits to PEOPLE. “I just want to be open and honest. I was irresponsible.”

The woman that he cheated with was attempting to blackmail him for money:

“I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with,” he says. “She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion.”

The actor says he and his wife are working to mend the marriage:

“We’re working on our marriage,” he says. “We’re working on repairing what has been damaged so badly.”

What do you think of his coming forward to share this? Does it make it less harmful than other celebrity cheaters who deny it until the mistresses start coming forward? Do you think he could’ve avoided discussing it at all?

Gavin Rossdale has taken to his Facebook page to put to rest rumors that he had an affair with Courtney Love while married to Gwen Stefani. The 44- year-old musician wrote,

Gwen and Gavin Rossdale would like to assure their fans that anything that may have occurred prior to their marriage has no impact on their current situation. All is well with the Rossdale family.”

Nice to hear! It seems Gavin is claiming that whatever relationship he had with Courtney Love occurred before his marriage to Gwen, not during,
as Love implied.

For the sake of the Rossdale family, let’s hope this is the last we hear on this matter. Although, Courtney Love does seem like the type of person who likes to get the last word!

Jenna Jameson was spotted enjoying some time with one of her twin sons, Journey, at a Huntington Beach park yesterday afternoon. They certainly seem to be having fun, but that nasty bruise on her arm can’t be missed.

According to E! News, Jenna has taken Tito Ortiz back after all the drama from last week (he was arrested for domestic violence last week, then Tito claimed Jenna was addicted to drugs, and Jenna responded with a negative drug test).

E! News says Jenna is not taking any further action regarding her domestic violence allegations.

“She is doing nothing,” Jameson’s attorney Ronald Richards told E! News today of the porn star’s plans for legal action, adding that, despite her caught-on-camera vow this week to press charges against Ortiz, she never had any intention to do so.

“Their disagreement was an obvious misunderstanding.”

For his part, Richards is selling the story that Jameson “never made any allegations” of domestic abuse about Ortiz, and says that cops acted without any input from the erstwhile star of Zombie Strippers.

“The police arrested him based upon the evidence they uncovered when they came to the residence,” he said. “They arrested him on the basis of that information. She is not commenting on that investigation.”

According to Radar Online, Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s marriage is officially over. It seems that they have reached a secret financial agreement and are actively pursuing a divorce.

Brooke has a prenuptial agreement that she’s not happy with and while she has threatened divorce previously, this time she’s finally had enough, friends of hers say.

Now we’ve learned they’ve agreed on a payout to dissolve the marriage. Brooke will walk away with a substantial amount of money “but not a fortune” the friend said.

“It’s not everything she wanted. It’s not even close. But it’s enough.”

Radar Online says that the couple will pretend the marriage is still going strong until Charlie finalizes his legal troubles in Colorado. Once the actor puts that issue behind him, the split will be made public knowledge.

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, plans to seek a conservatorship for Lindsay. Lindsay reportedly refuses to see her father, even though she’s currently in New York City herself (here she is doing some shopping with her mother, Dina Lohan).

As for a possible conservatorship, Lohan is telling people he’d gladly serve as the conservator but is open to someone else assuming that role.

Michael Lohan also says he does not want his daughter to go to jail. As TMZ first reported, Lohan is on the fast track for a jail cell because she has squarely violated the terms of her probation. A court day of May 20 looms for Lindsay.

Michael wants Lindsay in rehab but not a traditional, group facility. He wants to go the Brooke Mueller route — a private home with lots of doctors. What Michael isn’t factoring in — that type of rehab is bocu expensive and Lindsay is broke.

Lindsay does seem to be struggling, but I wonder if things are at the point where a conservatorship is appropriate (it’s what Britney Spears has)? And although Michael may truly be well-meaning, this sounds like another misguided attempt at trying to get Lindsay help that’s more likely to make things worse.

Us Weekly is reporting that Kristin Cavallari was seen doing a line of coke. Even though this claim has been addressed by ‘The Hills’ reality star, the rumor will not die.

Earlier this month, after a night of dinking at Night Vision’s Oasis event at Coachella in Indio, Calif., Cavallari, 23, joined 37-year-old actor Jason Statham and several others for a late-night spin in a golf cart, the new Us Weekly reports. “They got pulled over by the cops and were told to go home,” recounts a Cavallari acquaintance, who tells Us Weekly that throughout the music festival weekend, the star “was drinking and partying. I saw her do a line of cocaine.”

What do you think about the report? Do you think Kristin would openly do drugs like this KNOWING she is a public figure and the news could spiral out of control? Or is this a made up story by a magazine trying to sell subscriptions?

TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan has violated probation and will face jail time as a consequence. The actress has failed to fill the alcohol education requirement ordered by Judge Marsha Revel which required her to attend alcohol ed courses once a week. She’s been going about once every 3 weeks.

We’ve learned what’s going to come out at Lindsay’s progress hearing on May 20 — that she has habitually violated the judge’s requirement to attend classes at least once every 7 days.

Judge Revel has made it clear to Lindsay — no more chances. If probation is violated, she’s going to jail … and probation was repeatedly violated.

Did you hear the rumor that Chelsea Handler has a sex tape? Well, guess what? It’s TRUE!!

The comedian is claiming that she made it as a joke… but the video actually shows Chelsea having sex with her British partner while in her old apartment. The footage was taken almost 10 years ago.

The tape, which was made nearly a decade ago after Chelsea moved to Los Angeles starts out with Chelsea turning on the camera in what appears to be her apartment. During the first part of the tape, Chelsea is fully clothed in her work uniform. She begins by introducing herself by name before going into a stand-up routine before suddenly cutting to Chelsea and her male partner engaging in an explicit sex act.

Chelsea’s rep Steven Huvane said: “The tape you have is an old tape that was done for a stand up comedy bit.”

Are they saying that she did porn as part of a comedy act? I don’t see the funny in that.

This week, Chelsea talked about the sex tape on her show and directly addressed RadarOnline:

“I would like to say to RadarOnline.com, thanks for ruining my surprise Christmas gift to my staff, and number two, it was made as a joke. I put it on an audition tape for a comedy club, because I’m a comedienne, and I’ve been showing it at birthday parties for (expletive) years!”

Take that Tito Ortiz!

Earlier in the week, Tito and his lawyer announced that Jenna Jameson was addicted to painkillers and the domestic violence dispute resulted from her actions. Well, TMZ is reporting that she tested clean for OxyContin the day after Tito’s accusations.

We’ve learned the results of the test, administered Tuesday by American Toxicology Inc. in Las Vegas, show Jenna’s urine tested “negative” for the ten major drugs they were screening for … a list that included cocaine, weed, meth and oxycodone — the major ingredient in OxyContin.

Jenna’s lawyer released the following statement:

“The lab tests clearly exonerate Jenna Jameson of any hint, iota, or suggestion that she ingested or was under the influence of any opiates or controlled substances. Statements made by anyone to the contrary are completely impeached by the results from this prestigious testing facility.”

And so this fight continues.
