With the summer season officially in full swing, the editors of MensHealth.com and WomensHealthMag.com have announced their first annual lists of the “Best Summer Bodies.� Comprised of actors, musicians, and professional athletes, the lists reveal the hottest beach-ready bodies.

Securing the top spot for the men is Twilight star and Men’s Health July/August 2010 cover model, Kellan Lutz. To maintain his tight six-pack abs, Lutz uses a total-body circuit workout that includes a mix of core, upper-body, and lower-body exercises. Swimsuit model and actress Brooklyn Decker took the top spot for best female body. Decker works out five days a week with one-hour long combinations of cardio, ab moves, and weight training.

“All of this year’s finalists have a deep commitment to working out, staying fit and eating smart,” said David Zinczenko, editor-in-chief of Men’s Health and editorial director of Women’s Health. “They have a variety of workout regimes from Pilates and yoga to boxing and weight training, kayaking and hiking to training for marathons. They’ve worked hard to achieve and maintain their amazing bodies – which is why they’ve earned their place on this year’s list.”
