Bill Condon, the director for 'Breaking Dawn,' has written a letter to 'Twilight' fans on Facebook. Here are some excerpts:

Greetings Twihards, Twifans, Twilight Moms, Team Edward, Team Jacob and Team Switzerland,

I just want to say hello to all of you and let you know that I'm stoked to be getting underway on the adventure of making BREAKING DAWN...

I'm pretty busy bringing myself up to speed on what you already know by heart: I've read BREAKING DAWN twice, rewatched Catherine's and Chris's movies 2-3 times each... I realize that this barely qualifies me for "newborn" status in the universe you've been living inside for a few years now, but a guy's gotta start somewhere...

The wonderful world that Stephenie has created has obviously struck a chord with you, and I don't think it's difficult to see why. For me, her characters are simultaneously timeless, yet very modern... Bella, Edward, Jacob, and the rest of the Forks/La Push menagerie, experience emotions that are primal, and universal: desire, despair, jealousy - and it all comes to fruition in BREAKING DAWN...

'Twilight' stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were spotted arriving at LAX yesterday afternoon. They both flew in from Vancouver, where they've been shooting for 'Twilight.'

Since they just named the director for 'Breaking Dawn,' I'm guessing that they were doing some extra filming for 'Eclipse.' It seems awfully close to the release be doing extra shooting! Well, I don't think ANYTHING is going to delay the release, so I don't mind :)

Nikki Reed attended the 9th Annual Tribeca Film Festival last night. She walked the red carpet for the premiere of 'Ondine' in NYC and wore all black and understated jewelry. This actress doesn't need much help in the beauty department - she is a natural beauty. I love how she never goes over the top for press events.

You aren't going to believe this - but Nikki's next movie is alongside Kristen Stewart! It's like Hollywood can't stop pairing up these 'Twilight' actors. The actresses are about to start filming 'K-11'. Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes are also scheduled as part of cast.

It's official! Summit Entertainment has announced that Bill Condon will direct 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn'. Just in case you've forgotten this is the last book of the series. The one that needs to be done right. The one that needs to end as strongly as it began. No pressure Bill. No pressure.

"Bringing Stephenie Meyer's BREAKING DAWN to the screen requires a graceful and intelligent hand and we believe Bill Condon is exactly the right steward, having shown equal and abundant talents of immense creativity and subtle sensitivity,” said Erik Feig, President of Production and Acquisitions, for Summit Entertainment.

Added author Stephenie Meyer, “I'm so thrilled that Bill wants to work with us. I think he's going to be a great fit, and I'm excited to see what he does with the material.”

He's got some traction. After all, Mr. Condon is responsible for 'Dream Girls' and 'Kinsey'. I'd say we better get ready for some entertainment!

I loved this book, but not many 'Twilight' fans would agree. Most were utterly disappointed with the ending of the story. I felt it was rich and filled with a variety of characters I still want to learn more about. Stephanie Meyers definitely gave herself a dozen different ways to expand the franchise.

Here's someone we rarely get to see - Miss Nikki Reed. The 'Twilight' actress was photographed leaving alice + olivia on Robertson Blvd in LA yesterday afternoon.

In between working on our favorite vampire movies, Nikki had time to complete two other films: Privileged and Chain Letters. Both movies this actress is the lead and name draw. Hopefully, she will continue to get quality work.

Oprah Winfrey is debuting a new 'Twilight Saga: Eclipse' trailer today, but here it is now. And mark your calendars: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner will visit Oprah on May 13.

The latest movie buzz today has Kristen Stewart at the top of a list of actresses who are "wanted" to fill Angelina Jolie's shoes. According to E!Online, the studio and director of 'Wanted' are expressing interest in Kristen as the female lead for the movie sequel.

According to the source:

Stewart's character would be a young, ass-kicking assassin in the Fraternity.

The lucky actress, if she accepts the role, would be starring alongside James McAvoy. The rumor notes that a big snag in the plan is that no production dates have been set for the final two Twilight flicks yet.

Hmmm..Kristen as an action star? Can you picture it? It's kind of refreshing that Megan Fox's name wasn't thrown in the mix, as she usually is.

'Nightmare On Elm Street' and 'Twilight' hunk Kellan Lutz sat down with Interview magazine to chat about the things that drove him to acting and his goals for the future.

He talks about working on his grandparents' farm growing up:

I’d rather do manual labor than sit behind a desk. And as my grandparents got older, I’d fly out there and help out around the farm. We’d tear barns down; we’d build barns. I’d rather be outside rolling hay or driving the tractors.

What drove him to L.A. to pursue modeling and acting:

I have a lot of older brothers who messed up in different ways in my mother’s eyes. So I learned from all of their mistakes. I can’t go into detail, but while I was growing up, I always tried to make it a goal to relieve some of the stress my mother went through. I applied myself to school very diligently. I wanted to go out of state so I wouldn’t have to depend on my mother. And L.A., where my father lived, seemed to call to me.

He finds it funny to be considered a 'sex symbol':

It’s funny when people say you have sex appeal or call you the next Brad Pitt. I just laugh. I’m not that. I don’t want to be that. “You’re a sex icon.” Why? Because I played a vampire in a movie? It’s all very unearned. If I had the best freaking abs in the world or if I looked like Brad Pitt does in Fight Club [1999], then cool, but I’m not starving myself. I eat what I want, and I’m not a workout fiend. My genetics are good, but they aren’t crazy He-Man style. I don’t get it, but I appreciate it. [laughs]

He's grateful for his opportunities and hopes to be around for a long time in the industry:

Boy! Taylor Lautner just isn't stopping, is he? Last week he was photographed meeting fans in France several days in a row and today we have shots of the 'New Moon' actor in Spain. Naturally the locals are very pleased with the visit. A crowd formed outside the location all patiently waiting for their moment with the star.
